Walter J. Biele

Studio employee
Confirmed Years:   1916
Biography:

Listed in "extra payroll" list for January, 1916. This payroll ledger appears to cover overtime for Santa Barbara studio employees and payments for support players and extras.

From Neal Graffy:

"Walter Biele and Oscar Girard were vaudeville actors best known it seems, for a bit called "The Yankee and the Swede". They were hired by the Flying A between September 1915 and January 1916. They are not noted in the press as appearing in any movies, but did a number of bits in local theaters and were always credited as from the American studio.

Walter and Sallie (Newsum Biele) were bit players in Kolb and Dill's "A Million for Mary". They both retired from the film and acting world following their marriage."
