Story Summary: Discontent with the duties of knitting consigned to girls living on the army post, Jackie, the daughter of Col. Kerwood, organizes a girl's brigade, much to the consternation of her father. Forced to disband her troops, Dorothy decides to run away and become a Red Cross nurse when she sees a man acting suspiciously. Believing him to be her sweetheart, Lieut. Adair, Jackie follows him and discovers that the spy is Lieut. Wilbur and not her sweetheart. When Adair is taken prisoner by the spies, Jackie alarms the post and leads the rescue party, which arrives in time to arrest the spies and smash their scheme to blow up a troop train. -AFI |
