A painter in lovewith a country girl he wrongs, cannot marry her because his wife refuses him a divorce. The country girl writes she is drowning herself in the marsh. This sends the artist partially insane and he visualizes the act which he puts on canvass and it makes him famous. The girl does not die and later they are reunited as his wife now divorces him. - Big 4 Productions report, March, 1929
