Story Summary: A very interesting piece about white/indian relations with Van Trump, Kerrigan, Periolat and Lester as Native Americans. The Indian family moves on to land adjacent to a small western town or ranch. Richardson takes Van Trump as a squaw which annoys cowgirl Bush, yet she laughs it off since Van Trump is merely an Indian. Van Trump is then rejected by her family. After Richardson rapes(?) Van Trump, he rejects her and returns to Bush. The story ends with both Native American men dead and Van Trump and Lester wandering – “Only women” reads the final title card. - Dana Driskel |
